In addition to his work with startups such as Hootsuite and Fathom, Shawn was a sessional instructor at the Sauder School of Business at UBC. He also supports the arts in various capacities, most recently as a social media advisor to the Vancouver International Writers Festival.

What do you do when you're not designing?

Shawn lives in Vancouver with his wife, son and Welsh Springer and it’s where you might find him pursuing one of his earliest passions—food! He believes his carpool karaoke skills rival that of James Corden, at least that what he tells himself when confronted with the howling of dogs and the closing of car windows in the heat of summer.
